The day will be spent looking at aspects of posture, how the meridians support the body, exploring the organs and the body structure as well as some simple movements and useful exercises for strengthening and toning the abdomen and back. This will be a very practical workshop and is therefore open to shiatsu therapists and students and anyone interested in understanding either their own back problem or someone else’s.

Three one day workshops are offered to students and practitioners of Shiatsu to deepen their knowledge and experience of the meridians.

Each day is devoted to a particular combination of 2 Elements/4 Meridians which work together to form what is commonly known as the 6 Divisions.

Each workshop will include exploration of the Meridians through stretching, movement and bodywork, work with the Organs as well as specific techniques to encourage awareness and Ki to areas that are not clearly defined.
